Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the 2024 presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has called out the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for their constant skepticism towards the NPP’s ambitious plans. Speaking at a health walk event in Akuapem on Saturday morning, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the importance of perseverance and faith in accomplishing developmental objectives
Dr. Bawumia highlighted that the NDC often discourages ambitious projects proposed by the NPP, labeling them as unachievable. “Whenever we propose something, they discourage us, claiming our initiatives are impossible. They are pessimistic about everything we try to achieve,” he remarked.
He stressed his belief in the power of determination and divine support to overcome obstacles. “I know that with God, everything is possible. When you are determined and work hard, you can succeed. So yes, we can. Yes, it is possible,” he added.
Dr. Bawumia pointed to the successful implementation of the Free Senior High School (Free SHS) program as evidence of the NPP’s capability to achieve what critics consider unattainable.
