General Requirements
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- Ghanaian by birth
- Of good character
- No criminal record
- Not dismissed from any public service or other employment
- Age: 18 to 28 years old
- Physically and medically fit
- Minimum of five passes in SSCE/WASSCE, including Mathematics and English,
Height Requirements:
- Police and Immigration: At least 5 feet 8 inches for males and 5 feet 4 inches for females
- Prisons: At least 5 feet 6 inches for males and 5 feet 2 inches for females
Ghana Immigration Service
The Immigration Service also invites 2021 applicants to submit their details to the email address provided, meeting similar requirements as outlined by the Police Service.
Ghana Prisons Service
The Prisons Service has vacancies for various roles, including:
- General Duty Recruits
- Tradesmen Recruits
- Sportsmen/women Recruits
- General Duty Graduates
- Graduate Professionals
Applicants must meet the same general requirements but with specific height requirements for males and females. Age limits for the Prisons Service range from 18 to 33 years, except for sportsmen/women, who must be between 18 and 25 years old.
Recruitment Process
Successful candidates will proceed to the next phase, which includes:
- Body selection
- Document inspection
- Medical examinations
- Background checks
